Game Competitions

Our match calendar is packed with regional, national and international competitions and with events scheduled every month of the year anglers have a variety of matches to fish, whether its bank fishing for stocked fish on small stillwaters, loch style fishing for over wintered rainbows on the best reservoirs in the country or chasing wild brown trout and grayling from rivers and streams.

National Championships are integral to the match calendar, in addition to the prestige of becoming National Champion anglers also have the opportunity to qualify to represent England and compete in the Home International events. The Seniors Loch Style National begins late spring with a series of qualifiers with the final taking place in the autumn. The Ladies Loch Style National is held late spring and the youngsters have their opportunity for glory at the Youth Loch Style National which is held late summer. The Senior Bank National kicks off late autumn with qualifiers held during the winter months and the final is staged the following spring. Qualifiers for the Seniors Rivers National usually begin during the winter months and culminates with the final mid-late summer.
